In a series of escalated incidents, a notorious individual, charged with relentless stalking of various celebrities, was recently detained by the authorities for his disruptive behaviour at a New York City fashion event. This individual, identified as Chad Michael Busto, was apprehended for unceremoniously invading a dressing room during the Ralph Lauren show and declaring rather loudly his intent to wed “Harry Potter” and “Beauty and the Beast” star, Emma Watson.
Merely a month ago, this same man had an altercation with Drew Barrymore which subsequently led to his arrest. With allegations for criminal trespass and disorderly conduct attached to his name now, Busto entered a plea of not guilty during his court session on the following Saturday, held at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
Busto, 43, acquired release without any imposed bail and is awaiting another legal suit scheduled for October 2nd. His alleged approval for attendance at the Ralph Lauren fashion show was denied, triggering an unwarranted fit of rage when he was asked to remove himself from the premises. His obstinate refusal and subsequent outburst caused considerable disruption amidst the preparations for the high-profile event, marking the highlight of the biannual New York Fashion Week. It remains undetermined whether Emma Watson was indeed present at the event.
Last month saw a similar outburst from Busto when he abruptly invaded a Manhattan stage where Drew Barrymore was interviewing Renee Rapp, a renowned singer and actor. In the ensuing chaos, Rapp guided Barrymore to safety as security measures were activated to subdue the unbidden intruder. Shortly after, Busto found himself apprehended in the Hamptons and slapped with stalking charges when he was discovered going from door to door inquiring about Barrymore’s residence. Fortunately, the “Scream” actor and “Drew Barrymore Show” host was not present at her home during this occurrence.
Despite a court-mandated order to fit a GPS monitor following his release, Busto’s continued defiance led him to skip this requirement, which further prompted a Southampton judge to issue a warrant for his arrest. Busto’s extensive arrest record and erratic behaviour are well-documented, associating him with various shelters and church ministries in California and Washington, D.C.
Ironically, Mr. Busto once lodged a written lawsuit claiming he had been bestowed ownership of the Hilton hotels chain. This particular case was dismissed promptly. His other legal attempts under consideration included seeking to contest the prison sentences of all inmates populated in prisons globally. A vivid 2021 court submission saw him declaring himself “Born by Force”, attributing all blame for his existence to his parents.
In one of his more bizarre court submissions, Busto appeared to have filed a collection of Pokemon cards, lending further insight into the enigmatic character of this notorious celebrity stalker.
