On a fateful evening of August 17th, around 9:15 p.m., the tranquillity of 9th Avenue East was disrupted by an unsettling incident. A 44-year-old business owner was brutally assaulted by three unknown men just outside the premises of his own establishment, The Curry House. The assault, disturbingly violent in nature, left the victim in critical condition with severe head injuries. The victim was immediately rushed to a London Health Sciences hospital where he continues his fight for survival.
Authorities have revealed that the alleged assailants responsible for the horrific assault didn’t delay in fleeing the scene. Two of them reportedly made a swift escape southward on 2nd Avenue East. Their escape route continued eastward from the intersection at 9th Street.
Witness accounts provided the police with a description of the two fugitives. The first man is said to be a Caucasian of medium build. He stood between 5’10” to 6’2” in height, had short dark hair, and was dressed in a light blue t-shirt, black shorts and black running shoes. The second man matched closely in description – a medium build Caucasian, similar in height, with short brown hair that was longer on top. His attire included an orange t-shirt, black shorts, and black running shoes. The pair is estimated to be somewhere in their mid-twenties to mid-thirties.
Authorities were also informed of a third man involved in the incident. Described as a Caucasian, presumably in his late forties to mid-fifties, with curly hair, wearing casual shorts and a t-shirt.
The vehicle implicated in the escape was reported to resemble a Ford Escape or a Mazda Tribute from the early 2000s, painted either gray or blue.
