Police have launched an investigation into the death of a woman in Feilding after an incident that occurred on Boxing Day. Detective Senior Sergeant Dave Thompson reported that the woman was initially admitted to Palmerston North Hospital by ambulance on the evening after sustaining an injury. Her condition deteriorated, leading to her transfer to Wellington Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Authorities have conducted a thorough examination of the property in Feilding and are interviewing its occupants to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the injury.
