Bitcoin’s Secret Peak: Will Summer 2025 Mark the Ultimate High Amid Mysterious Patterns and Sudden Drops?

21

A key technical indicator for Bitcoin suggests that the cryptocurrency’s price is expected to reach its peak around mid-July 2025, although there may be a short-term decline in the interim. Bitcoin has experienced a 3% drop in the last 24 hours and an 8% decrease over the past week, trends not uncommon for January.

Despite this recent dip, the analysis from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView shows Bitcoin maintaining a price consolidation for four weeks after hitting a new all-time high of $108,268 in December 2024. It has since decreased by 14% but remains on an upward trajectory, according to the 52-week simple moving average (SMA). Analyst Dave the Wave noted that Bitcoin has historically peaked as the SMA approaches the middle band of the logarithmic growth curve (LGC).

In past cycles, such as in 2013, 2017, and 2021, Bitcoin’s peak occurred when the one-year moving average was near the midway point of the LGC channel. The current prediction estimates this crossover could happen around mid-July 2025, potentially signaling Bitcoin’s peak during that period.

Rekt Capital, a well-known crypto analyst, describes the ongoing price consolidation as part of the initial correction phase within a parabolic trend, typically spanning two to four weeks. With the current retracement lasting four weeks, the correction is seen as nearing completion.

Additional analysis from Axel Adler Jr. indicates that this year’s decline is less severe than previous phases, aligning with post-halving trends. Another analyst, Peter Brandt, identified a possible head-and-shoulders pattern on Bitcoin’s daily chart, suggesting three potential outcomes, including reaching the target of the formation below $77,000.

Bitcoin Munger highlighted significant buying interest between $85,000 and $92,000 on Binance, raising the possibility of the price moving to fulfill these orders or rising to meet sell orders at $110,000.

Overall, these analyses suggest the market is in a maturing phase, with a peak expected in the summer of 2025. However, as with any investment, there is inherent risk, and decisions should be based on thorough research.
