The Bijou restaurant located in the Marriott Airport Terminal Hotel is offering, until March 6, an asian menu as part of their Montreal Highlight festival. The chef has prepared a special menu with specialties from Shenzhen which is the official city invited to the annual festival.
Duck spring rolls served with marinated sweet and sour veggies, garlic spare ribs served with orange marinated rapine are the starter choices. For the main course three options prevail, Shenzhen General Tao chicken served with boo chou and steamed rice or spicy broth, soba noodles topped with shrimp and black cod and crispy noodles served with pickled vegetables and braised pork.
Desert is included in the $45 table d’hôte pricing which is banana donuts dipped in roasted sesame honey. YUMMY
Much like during the Jazz festival, Bijou enjoys bringing the Montreal festivals to the West Island so local participants can enjoy a taste without having to go into the city for it. With free valet parking for four hours until the April the offer is enjoyed by many who want to partake.
