Every December, the West Island comes together to celebrate this magical time of year. From parades to food drives, breakfast with Santa to outdoor light displays – there is something for every one both young and old to get into the Holiday spirit.

Hudson Santa Claus Parade

Hudson’s annual Santa Claus Parade starts at 1 pm in front of Westwood Senior Campus (69 Cote St-Charles), turns EAST along Main Road and ends at the Community Centre (394 Main Road). Main Road is closed from 12:30 so get to your spot early, or park in the St Thomas parking lot until 1:30 pm. The Montreal Pipes and Drums are back, as are the Shriners, and other favourites. After the parade, come have a cup of hot chocolate and meet Santa!

Dream Land Magical Light Display

Another year, another gorgeous and captivating light display courtesy of Sami Hajjar. This year’s theme is Mickey and Minnie Mouse and will feature a new secret passage to Frozen and Star Wars in the backyard!  Music show plays  four times per day : 6PM, 7PM, 8PM and 9PM.

Hanukah Classics cooking class (ages 6-11 years)

Dorval Holiday Festivities

On Air For Healthcare

Join our supportive community for the 2nd Annual “On Air for Healthcare” Radiothon benefitting the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation. We will be at Dunn’s DDO (Marché de L’Ouest) all day on December 11, 2018. 50% of your food bill will be donated to help purchase life-saving and life-giving medical equipment.

Live Reading of A Christmas Carol Benefiting

Lakeshore Concert Band’s Christmas Dessert Concert

The band members will offer baked goods for your enjoyment after the concert, served with tea or coffee.
Tickets are $15, and $12 for seniors and students. A donation of a non-perishable food item for the church’s Christmas Baskets would be most appreciated.

Christmas Concert and Food Drive

An evening of Christmas favourites and other popular music with some of the finest musicians in Montreal. Featuring: The Mimosa Wind Ensemble and The Pipes and Drums of the Black Watch (Royal Highland Regiment of Canada). Monday, December 17th, 2018 at 7:30pm. Tickets are $15.00 in advance ($20.00 at the door) plus a non-perishable food item (no open or expired food please). All profits will be used to buy food for the Dorval Community Aid Christmas Basket Program and other food bank initiatives.
