The Becket Players presents: Around The World 7 Continents 1 Show – A World Musical Tour for their upcoming 44th annual charity show. All proceeds will be donated to one local charity: WIAIH (West Island Association for the Intellectually Handicapped) and their project for The KIZMET Centre. 2018 Montreal Cycleswap
Have you outgrown your old bike, want a different type of bike, and/or have one to sell? Then join us on May 6th at the 2nd annual CycleSwap, a unique fundraising event organized by the Friends of the MUHC and Cycle Neron. It’ll be a fun-filled day, a great way to kick off the cycling season, and also support the Montreal Children’s Hospital PICU. Proceeds from the sale of all bikes will go towards purchasing one new ultrasound machines for brain imaging at the bedside.

Dr. Amanda Glew will cover her most commonly seen emergencies in 30 years of practice, with practical tips on what to do, and what not to do with your animal friend. Dr. Glew is known for her storytelling, so it is going to be an interesting and fun evening.With her common sense approach to veterinary medicine, you are bound to pick up a few tips! Cost: $20

Sheltering Our Youth One Brick at a Time
West Island Blog and Desjardins West Island have joined forces again to offer you a night of live music, dinner and wine. Prepare to be entertained as the team of volunteers prepares a line up not to be missed. For $35 per ticket, you will have a pasta meal (vegetarian option) wine and a chance to listen to local talent Kerry-Anne Kutz and Laura Janowski.
