Launch of Théâtre Ouest End
New theatre company, Théâtre Ouest End, celebrates their launch (and International Women’s Day) with their inaugural event, an evening of readings from a great gathering of Montreal playwrights and performers, on Friday, March 8 at their home space, Westmount Park United Church. Admission is free.

Saint-Patrick’s Day Breakfast for a Cause
Have you been impacted by cancer? Nearly 1 in 2 Quebecers are expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Mckibbin’s Irish pub Vaudreuil is taking action and raising funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. Let’s celebrate Saint-Patrick’s day with good food, Irish coffees all while raising money to help make a difference! $25 for adults and $10 for kids under 8 years old. Tickets can be purchased at Mckibbin’s the day of the event.

Festival de la Voix 2019
Vox Aeterna is proud to celebrate the sixth annual Festival de la Voix, promoting live music, Canadian composers, and professional and emerging artists in exciting, varied concerts, as well as offering outstanding workshops. There will be nine concerts and four workshops between March 16th and March 31st. These events will be held in venues throughout the West Island, as Beaconsfield, Lachine, Pointe-Claire and Dorval will be hosting concerts and/or workshops. Prices vary per concert, however, a Festival Passport to four concerts is available for $90 for adults and $75 for seniors and student.

Sugaring Off Family Event
Experience the onset of this spring in one of the few sugar maple groves remaining on the Island of Montreal. Enjoy a wagon ride to our sugar shack and learn how syrup is made in the traditional way: on a wood fire, from sap collected in buckets. German sausages, hotdogs, drinks and, of course, taffy on snow will be sold at a nominal charge. Free for members, regular entrance fees apply to non-members: Child $4.50, Adult $8, Senior & Student $5.50, Family $20
