The Size of Ideas -Exhibition for Kids

How does an artwork take form? From the original spark to public presentation, kids will learn about the various stages of the creative process through the work of Randall Anderson. A father, educator and teacher, Anderson is a multidisciplinary artist who is influenced by the world of childhood. His artworks, which are both fun and educational, reflect the accuracy of his observations.

Food is meant to nourish our bodies and provide us with pleasure, but can so often become an enemy. Every day we get conflicting nutrition advice from many different places; television, celebrities, magazines, etc. It’s easy to get confused and discouraged about healthy eating. But making healthy food choices doesn’t have to be a battle. We will discuss ways to make positive, easy changes as well as real-life strategies to help make the changes stick. This presentation will also provide you with the tools to help you find credible sources of information about nutrition. End your fight with food and return the pleasure to healthy eating!

Colouring is a stress-busting trend that is taking the world by storm. You don’t need to be an artist to enjoy the multiple benefits of this activity: it relieves stress, stimulates the brain areas related to motor skills and creativity and much more.

Let your imagination run free and join us in a quiet and welcoming environment with soothing music and refreshments. All materials provided: colouring books depicting flowers, animals, landscapes and others, as well as a large selection of pencils, markers and crayons.

Montréal en Lumière sheds new light on curling, by taking the time-honoured game outdoors and to dazzling new heights. For a truly unique interactive experience, try your hand tossing the rocks against the brilliant backdrop of a light and sound performance.

Animators will be on hand to provide play-by-play commentary, get everyone involved, and tally up team points. There will also be a designated area for those who prefer to stand back and enjoy the scene.

Join us at the spectacular event and enjoy the multimedia and technological magnificence that is Montréal en Lumière!

The Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation 7Th Annual Gastronomy Event

The Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation celebrates the arrival of spring each year by organizing a gastronomic evening at Bâton Rouge Steakhouse & Bar in Dollard-des-Ormeaux.
