Come for a day filled with bouncy castles, face painting, a BBQ and more! Fun for the whole family! There will be raffle prizes, so buy your tickets! You do NOT have to be present to win a prize. This event is free to attend, just a small cost for our BBQ (everything for $1!) and raffle tickets. All money made on this day will go towards new toys and educational materials for the classrooms.

8th Edition of Yoga for Nova

You are invited to start the day on the right foot with Energizen and NOVA. This yoga class will be gentle and all levels are welcome.

LaveOthon des Grands Brûlé

Fire Station 59 will be hosting their second annual car wash in our community. Join the fun and have your car washed by our local firefighters and give back to recent burn victims through the Foundation des Pompiers du Quebec pour Les Grands Brûlés. Bring the kids, enjoy a BBQ and get that car clean!!

Plaza Pointe-Claire Fun Day

Fun Day 2018 with West Island Mommies! Come enjoy inflatables, mini electric cars, face painting, and a fire truck event.  The Costello Irish Dancers and a delicious barbecue and treats will make this a fun day indeed! All proceeds will benefit the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation.

Worldwide Knit in Public Day

Celebrate your love of knitting at this public “knit-in”, which will take place on the grounds of the Dorval Library. The event concept is “BYOK” (Bring Your Own Knitting!) and knitters of all ages and levels are welcome to drop in, no registration required. Members of the Surrey Knitters will be on hand to help beginners. Refreshments will be served. In case of poor weather, the activity will be moved inside the Library.

Free Zumba in the Park

The West Island’s Latin Zumba machine, Lisbeth Mora will lead an 8-week outdoor Zumba party with some of her favourite Zumba friends. This event brought to you by the Art Saving Life Foundation (ASLF) guarantees 90 minutes of heart-pounding, music-pumping, hip-shaking fun for the whole family.

OBSTAFUN – Obstacle course for kids

OBSTAFUN invites children to take part in an obstacle course that is designed specifically for them. Obstacles are installed in the woodlot and adjacent park. Although children of all ages are welcome to OBSTAFUN, our obstacles are designed for children under 10 years old.

Kirkland Day

Kirkland Day, which takes place mid-June, is a big outdoor annual festival celebrating the inauguration of the Town of Kirkland on March 24, 1961. Come out and enjoy an amazing day filled with inflatables, face painting, music and entertainment, food and beverages($), food trucks ($), a Bon Jovi tribute band and fireworks! All activities are free.

WICA Garden Tour

This year, the tour will be held in the Dorval region featuring private gardens. One stop on the garden tour includes the Dorval Museum, a hidden gem in the community where refreshments will be served. It is also where a BBQ fundraiser will take place as well as a workshop on sprouts, courtesy of Covenant Springs Farm. Tickets are $25 and all proceeds will benefit WICA.

What’s in the Pond?

Join Sarah Dixon on a tour of the pond as a habitat for aquatic creatures. Using a net, we’ll scoop, search, and look through the muck to find insect larva, tadpoles, and maybe even a newt! Be sure to wear appropriate outdoor clothing including waterproof boots. Cost (tax and parking included): Adults: $15 / Children: $10. Call to reserve your spot!
