In April, 100 Beaconsfield High School students traveled to New York to compete in the Heritage Festival bringing home a record number of medals. Not only did BHS bring home gold and silver medals, two sisters Isabel and Jane Szollosy walked away with the Ovation Award for their outreach work with their charity Sparks of Hope. In 2017, the band won the gold in St. Bruno Jazz Fest des Jeunes.
