Attend a Montreal virtual Christmas Mass

Christmas will look different this year, but the love and light of the festive season remains unchanged. For many of us, however, Christmas celebrations will be enjoyed from the comfort of our homes as a restriction of 25 people remains in effect in places of worship. Here is a list of some local Montreal churches hosting a live or recorded virtual Christmas Mass:

L’Oratoire Saint-Joseph du Mont-Royal

To ensure that as many pilgrims as possible can follow the celebrations, three Masses will be broadcast live from the Basilica on their Facebook page and on their YouTube channel on Thursday, December 24th.

✅ One Family Mass at 4:30 p.m.
✅ One Mass in English at 7 p.m.
✅ One Mass in French at 9 p.m.
✅ Several masses will also be held in the Oratory’s Crypt Church.
The 9 p.m. Mass (In French) will be rebroadcast on Radio VM at midnight.

You will find all the information, including the detailed schedule of Masses for Christmas Eve on their website.
