Gateway Casinos and Entertainment in British Columbia has officially announced its Atlas Steak + Fish is reopening to imminent visitors. The reopening restaurant is located in the Cascades Casinos Kamloops facility, is the second to reopen after the mid-March reopening of Match Eatery & Public House.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, most businesses have remained closed in B.C. for almost a year. That has left many people jobless; however, in March, reopening is being experienced across some sectors that include restaurants.
Atlas Steak + Fish is scheduled to reopen on 30th March 2021; the restraint will officially offer dine-in services to the guest. It will for five days a week, starting on Tuesday to Saturday. It will provide services from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.; furthermore, twenty employees are set to resume their jobs.
Tanya Garbara, the director of public relations at Gateway Casinos and Entertainment, spoke on behalf of the corporation stating their delight in reopening dining venues. She further added that guests have been enquiring about the availability of restraint, especially during lockdown times.
Two of the corporation restaurants will welcome visitors, while The Buffer will not be reopening any soon. Match Eatery and the Public House at the facility reopened on 16th March. The decision to reopen was made after the provincial government gave a green light of resuming businesses in the region.
Apart from The Buffet, the casinos’ venue will remain closed as the gambling facility remain closed in the province. Gambling facilities remain closed for almost a year in B.C., although other provinces are reopening. Gateway Casinos says that its facility is ready for reopening, and the necessary safety measures are in place.
