Animatch boasts a centre with accommodation for a dozen dogs and a dedicated team of volunteers. West Island Blog and Animatch have come together to help find our furry friends a forever home. Please share this post to help them find a home if you can.
1MALIBU-FEMALE-ST. BERNARD – BERNESE MT DOG X – 8 1/2 YEARS OLD

Malibu and Kingsley, her brother from another mother, find themselves in search of a new forever home. Their family is going through a tough time and made the difficult decision to ask Animatch for help. We would like very much to keep them together. They are both great with other dogs and could easily live with one. Malibu is a young 8-year old and enjoys a brisk walk or two every day. She is looking forward to a fenced yard where she can run and play – with Kingsley.
2KINGSLEY- MALE- BERNESE MOUNTAIN DOG- 5 YEARS OLD

Kingsley arrived here with his sister, Malibu. Despite his youth, he has bad hips. The Vet says the best treatment is cartophen injections, which aren’t overly expensive. Medication may be required in the future. A couple of daily walks will strengthen his muscles. Our dream is to keep this bonded pair together. If you have room in your heart and your home for these gentle giants, fill out the form and ask for Malibu and Kingsley.
3DAISY- FEMALE-BORDER COLLIE-HUSKY X- 7 YEARS OLD

At seven years old, Daisy is still turbocharged with an energy level that was too much for her family. She needs lots of exercise and time to vent her energy. She would love a home with a fenced yard and no cats. No apartments or condos for her either. If your dream is to walk, hike or bike with a loyal companion by your side, and you have the time and patience to commit to her, fill out the form and ask for Daisy.
4TUSCAN-FEMALE-COCKAPOO-2 YEARS OLD

Tuscan came to us bewildered, anxious and terrified of people. She has spent her life in a puppy mill with far too many dogs and little or no human attention. Tuscan and her forever guardian have a long road ahead of them. Besides love, she requires patience, consistency and the ability to accept her as she is. Tuscan will need socialization, potty training and she’ll have to learn her basic commands. Another well-balanced dog in the home would be an asset. Right now, Tuscan’s strongest drive is flight, so she has to be kept calm and safe. Besides being dog friendly, she is also good with cats. Her new guardian must have experience and done some research on how to welcome a former breeding dog into your home. If all this sounds like you, fill out the form and ask for Tuscan.
