Animatch’s Available Furry Friends – November 2020

Harry met Sally and the rest is history. These BFF’s have been together for as long as they can remember, and we would love them to stay that way. Their human had to go to a senior’s apartment that doesn’t take dogs, so they find themselves in search of a new home. They are both sweet and affectionate and know what it is to be part of a family. They both have a few signs of ageing: Harry only has a few teeth left and Sally just lost an eye. (The picture was taken before the surgery.) But, heck, Pierce Brosnan and Michelle Pfeiffer don’t look exactly like they did twenty years ago. We are looking for someone who can give this dynamic duo a cozy, comfy retirement home.

Georgie’s family gave him a good head start, but then made the difficult decision to ask Animatch to find him a new home. Beagles like to do lots of things, sniffing is one of the main ones. Georgie needs lots of walks and hikes where he can exercise this great talent. He also needs a fenced yard where he can run laps safely. He would excel at obedience training. Outside, unless he’s in his yard, he must be on leash. If he smells something good down the street, his guardian will become a faint memory and that voice calling his name will mean nothing to him. Georgie has the Beagle bay, so no apartments or condos for him. We’re looking for someone with the energy, commitment and love for this sweet boy who’s so anxious to be your constant companion.

This cute little guy was an unclaimed stray who was picked up by Animal Control and transferred to Animatch. He was unsocialized and unpredictable. He has now spent some time at École de Formation Intervenants canins du Québec. Tibet finally found people he can trust and who would spend the time needed with him. He’s looking for an adult family who will commit to him for life, seeing that he gets daily exercise and good food. He’s indifferent to other dogs and would probably do better on his own. Tibet is looking for someone who has the time and patience needed to make him feel comfortable and secure in his new home. Click here if you are interested in adopting this little guy.
