Animatch-pet-adoption-dog-Trilby

Trilby made the trip from Waskaganish with her eight pups. They had a home, but their guardian made the difficult decision to let them go so they could be treated for demodex (mange). There is no veterinary care in the North. But that was then and this is now. The treatments were successful and the pups have already started finding their new, forever homes. Now, it’s Trilby’s turn. She is a blank slate with a sweet, independent personality. She’s good with other dogs, but not with cats. With a little obedience training, she could become a loving part of your family. If you have fifteen or so years to devote to her, fill out the form and ask for Trilby.

RIZZY-FEMALE- LABRADOR X – 1 1/2 YEARS OLD

Animatch-pet-adoption-dog-Rizzy

Rizzy is also a Northern girl from Waskaganish. She is learning about life in the south with her Foster Mom and canine foster siblings. She is shy with humans at first, but warms up if you don’t rush her. Any problems she has, such as lunging at squirrels, cats, other dogs, and moving vehicles can be fixed with obedience training. Rizzy is okay with other dogs if introduced properly, but can’t live with cats or other small animals. She loves long walks and hopes she can keep enjoying them in her new home. Rizzy needs a home with an experienced guardian and older, respectful children. If you’re ready to commit to her, she’s ready to go home with you. GEORGE-MALE-CATAHOULA X – 4 1/2 YEARS OLD

Animatch-pet-adoption-dog-George

George is a hard-working dog who needs lots of exercise and mental stimulation. A house with a fenced property would be the icing on the cake, and he would be glad to keep it free of squirrels. He also needs outings and walks. He spent his whole life with one family, but circumstances caused them to make the difficult decision to help him find a new home. George is good with other dogs if introduced properly, but not with cats. He is quite vocal, so besides needing space, apartments and condos aren’t for him. His new guardian might have to remind him that his paws should remain on the ground when greeting people. Although George is an outdoorsy, active dog, he is also very affectionate and requires cuddle time every day. If you think you and this handsome fellow might become best buddies, fill out the form and ask for George.
