Animatch boasts a centre with accommodation for a dozen dogs and a dedicated team of volunteers. West Island Blog and Animatch have come together to help find our furry friends a forever home. Please share this post to help them find a home if you can.
1ELVIS-MALE-JACK RUSSEL TERRIER- 6 YEARS OLD
Elvis has been with us a long time. You might be familiar with his story: originally from Greece, high energy, a little bossy with other dogs, chomping at the bit to get into flyball or agility. He’s also a big cuddler and has the makings of your new BFF. He’s waiting impatiently for his forever family to come and get him. If it sounds like you, fill out the form and mention his name.
2ANGEL-FEMALE-LABRADOR X- 6 MONTHS OLD
Angel arrived from Waskaganish with a badly broken leg. She has had her surgery and is still recuperating in the hospital. The pins were removed last week and it’s easier to keep her immobile there. Once she has healed, Angel will need lots of daily exercise. Because of her age, she will need someone at home for a good part of the day. Obedience training would help her become a good canine citizen. She gets along with other dogs, and having another one in te house would help her adapt to family life. Angel can’t live with cats. If all of the above sounds like you, fill out the form and ask for Angel.

Animatch has humble beginnings. It was founded in 1999 by Helen Lacroix, a busy wife and mother. Her grassroots movement started around her kitchen table. Helen credits her parents with instilling in her their love and concern for animals. Today, Animatch boasts a centre with accommodation for a dozen dogs and a dedicated team of volunteers.
