Animatch  boasts a centre with accommodation for a dozen dogs and a dedicated team of volunteers.  West Island Blog and Animatch are joining together to help find our furry friends a forever home.  Please share this post to help them find a home if you can.

NERO – MALE-MIXED BREED- 3 1/2 YEARS OLD.Nero Animatch

Nero was rescued 2 years ago by Compassion Sans Borders in Greece. He had spent most of his life tied up outside and had a bad case of mange. His rescuers treated the mange and he spent two years in a foster home. Now, this big (90 lbs) sweet dog withNero a beautiful black coat is with us at Animatch. Nero is not a demanding fellow; a few walks every day, good food, clean water and a few pats and scratches and he is a happy boy. And he is partial to car rides. He gets along best with calm dogs and would do well with older, respectful children. If you think your family is the one for this big boy, fill out the form and ask for Nero.

ELVIS – MALE -JACK RUSSEL TERRIER – 5 YEARS OLD

Elvis

By coincidence only, Elvis also hails from Greece. He spent most of his life tied to a 6 foot leash in a company’s yard. For shelter, he crawled under a truck. He is ready to turn the page and anxious to start his new life. He is affectionate, smart and athletic. Elvis would thrive in obedience classes, agility or flyball. He is high energy and would love an active family that included him in their activities. He is quite bossy with other dogs, so he would do best as your only dog. If you think you could keep up with him, fill out the form and ask for Elvis. Elvis

About Animatch

The Option is Adoption

Animatch has humble beginnings. It was founded in 1999 by Helen Lacroix, a busy wife and mother. Her grassroots movement started around her kitchen table. Helen credits her parents with instilling in her their love and concern for animals. Today, Animatch boasts a centre with accommodation for a dozen dogs and a dedicated team of volunteers.
