
On Wednesday afternoon, a pilot has managed to perform an emergency landing outside Sydney, N.S. The pilot was the lone occupant of a single-engine airplane. CBRM fire service responded on time, arriving to field off Aspen Grove in Howie Centre promptly to aid the pilot.
A duty officer with the Cape Breton Regional Fire Service said that, when the help arrived, the pilot was fine. Volunteer firefighters from Sydney River and Howie Centre remained on the scene and, so far, there is no additional news related to this event.
