A Man Is Dead While Six Other Sustained Injuries After Shooting At An Edmonton Community Hall

Homicide police in Edmonton are looking into the circumstances that led to the death of a man who was found dead early Sunday after a shooting in Duggan that also left six other injured.

At about 4am, police responded to a shooting incident that was reported at a community hall in around the 37th avenue and the 106th Street, a recent news release said.


Upon reaching the scene, police found a dead man, in his 20s in the community hall.

The six who sustained injuries during the shooting incident were rushed to the emergency room. Five of the men had sustained light injuries while one had serious injuries, officers said.

A suspect is in police custody, and more details regarding the incident will be provided in the next few days.
