Montreal police are investigating a fire that incident at a luxury home of MindGreek executive Feras Antoon. The fire is believed to have intentionally been set on Sunday night.
The police were called around 11:30 p.m. that two people were breaking into a home under the construction of Jean-Bourdon and Antoine-Berthelet Avenues, Ahuntsic-Cartierville borough.
The police are still seeking the two suspects. The house $19 million home under construction was seriously destroyed. The Montreal fire department tackled three fire alarms which were brought under control around 2:30 a.m.
Joseph Montanaro, a realtor, on Monday referred to that damage done as extensive and very shocking. Antoon, the property owner, operates the PornHub website that has received criticism for allegedly posting illegal content.
No injuries were reported, people in the neighboring homes had to be evacuated as a precaution as firefighters tried to control the blaze.
