A 23-year-old man was shot several times Sunday night in Pierrefonds

According to the City of Montreal Police Department, at approximately 9:30 pm, several calls to 911 reported shots on Laurin Street, near the intersection with Gouin Boulevard.


The police find only casings on the ground once they arrived on the scene. After searching Montreal hospitals, a 23-year-old man with a bullet in his upper body is identified. Police do not fear for his life. The victim will be interviewed as part of the investigation.

Police have established a security perimeter on Laurin Street to analyze the scene.
