Zipwhip, a Seattle-based text messaging provider, today confirmed that Santa Claus has text-enabled his toll free phone number 844-YO-SANTA (844-967-2682). Children and their parents can now text in their Christmas wish lists to Santa and families can save on postage fees. Santa will be able to receive up to 1,000 texts per second on his toll free phone number; picture messages included.
Santa’s mailbox received a record low number of written letters from children in 2014. Mr. and Mrs. Claus were desperate to keep the Christmas spirit alive. They studied up and discovered that children are text messaging in record numbers. Recognizing the need to support millions of inbound texts and picture messages, Santa chose Zipwhip to power its Wish List TextingLine. Zipwhip is providing Santa full access to its multi-user software so Santa and his team of trusty elves can properly manage all of the inbound wishes. Santa stated they he and his team of elves are committed to responding to every text.
For the first time ever, Santa will be able to text with children directly while simultaneously checking his Naughty or Nice List. Zipwhip’s Chief Marketing Officer, John Larson, went on record stating, “We’re honored to be part of such a thoughtful cause and happy to support Santa in keeping the Christmas Spirit alive. My daughter already texted in her wish and her eyes lit up when she received an immediate response from Santa. It meant the world to her”.
Santa invites parents and their kids to text him their wish lists on his toll free phone number 844-YO-SANTA (844-967-2682). Children will receive an immediate confirmation text with a link to a short video containing a direct message from Santa. Santa has also requested picture messages of Rudolph drawings to decorate his new North Pole text messaging call center.
