Two persons are dead after what the RCMP terms a “serious incident” at the Lions Regional park campground in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan.
They were adults, and a third individual was injured and taken to hospital for treatment.
There is no word on their ages or home communities, and there’s no additional information from the police.
However, officers say there is no risk to public safety at this time.
RCMP were on the scene Monday afternoon. Officers said there will continue to be an increased police presence in the location overnight and into Tuesday.
The police say the will issue updates on Tuesday as they gather more details.
