Floods in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue
SERVICES AVAILABLE FOR RESIDENTS
Since this morning, water levels of Lac des Deux-Montagnes have been steadily increasing in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. The city dispatched all its public works and Municipal Patrol teams in order to help affected citizens as soon as the water level increased. If this trend is maintained, many people will have to evacuate their homes.

Multi-purpose help centre – Centre Harpell
Centre Harpell, located at 60 Rue Saint-Pierre is now open and will remain open overnight to welcome disaster victims. Tired? Come and receive some comfort and warmth. If possible, please bring your blankets and personal effects.
Montreal Fire Department (SIM)
If the water level forces you to leave your home, you must first contact the Montreal Fire Department at 9-1-1.
You will be brought to the Multi-purpose help centre located at Centre Harpell.
REMINDER : Do not take any risks regarding electrical outlets in flooded basements (please call 9-1-1)
8-1-1 Info-Santé and Info-Social
If you are in a state of psychological distress, if you are afraid, if you are worried, dial 8-1-1.
An Info-Santé nurse or an Info-Social social worker will answer your questions, give you expert advice and refer you to the right resources within the health and social services network, if necessary. The service is free and confidential, accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Free Pet Accomodation – evacuated citizens
Free shelter service for pets of homes that were evacuated is available. If possible, bring your pet food, drugs, vitamins and other products. All details will be provided at the Multi-purpose help centre (Centre Harpell), which will welcome you at the time of evacuation.
Financial Assistance Program (individual and compagnies) – information session
There will be a public information session on TUESDAY, MAY 9TH AT 7 :30 PM at the Parish Hall located at 1, Rue De l’Église regarding financial assistance for disaster victims (including merchants). Ministère de la sécurité publique officials will conduct this meeting. Following the information session, temporary disaster relief offices will be located on the second floor of Centre Harpell, 60 Rue St-Pierre on May 10th and 11th from 9 am to 9 pm.
