AJOI is proud to announce the presence of the MNA for Nelligan, Minister of
Municipal Affairs and Land Occupancy, Minister of Public Security, and Minister responsible for the Montreal region, Mr
Martin Coiteux, and the presence of the Mayor of Pierrefonds-Roxboro borough, member of the Agglomeration Council,
responsible for procurement, sports and leisure, and communities of diverse origins, Mr Dimitrios Jim Beis, in the “AJOI
Rocks!” talent show. Mr Martin Coiteux and Mr Dimitrios Jim Beis will both be taking part in the show as musical artists.
AJOI’s mission is to establish and maintain social street work intervention to at-risk youth, aged from 12 to 25 years in the
West Island of Montreal. Since 2007, AJOI has been offering services ranging from listening and support to resources and
referrals for youth facing different issues : homelessness, drug and alcohol addiction, poverty, mental and physical health
challenges, judiciary problems, psychological distress, etc.
“AJOI Rocks!” is the fifth edition AJOI’s annual talent show, solely organized by volunteers. AJOI salutes Mr Martin Coiteux
and Mr Dimitrios Jim Beis’ involvement and would like to highlight their commitment to West Island ‘s youth and to the
improvement of the quality of life in our community.
“AJOI Rocks!” will take place on April 8th at 7:30pm, at the Beaubois Theatre. Tickets are on sale for $25 in
advance by contacting information@ajoi.info, or at $30 at the door. All proceeds go to AJOI.
